LETTERS AND COMMENTS FROM YOU!

Hello Nancy,

I received the audio book and it is the single best purchase I have ever made.  This belongs in broadcasting museums.

I am 66.  I was a WXYZ newscaster in the summer of 1965 -- seeing Lee in the hallways but never actually meeting him.

I ordered and read his book when it came out -- but there is nothing like this 11-hour, magnificently-produced Lee Alan Show audio version.  I am only partly into it and have a delightful ways to go.

If there were do-overs, I would be Lee's board op at WXYZ in the 60s.  But Lee's reading his book is one damn fine alternative.

All Best to You,

GM (Fresno, Ca.

Hello Nancy,

Thank you so much for making Lee record his book.  I purchased his book last year and enjoyed reading and looking at all the faces, but  I received the Audio Version  yesterday and couldn't wait until I started listening to it...

I was driving to work, laughing so hard at his craziness and the music...Emotional, yes it brought my teenage years back to me in a flash, Young again, yes that is exactly what I felt!

Tell Lee that I am enjoying his audio book totally and would recommend it to everyone.

Great Work!

Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!

Sincerely,

LB (Coral Springs,Fl)

Hi Nancy,

I received my audio book today and have listened to it most of the morning.

Thank you for such a wonderful Walk Down Memory Lane.

Dear Lee and Nancy

-----------
It has been awhile since we communicated.  In the meantime, I purchased your fine book ?Turn Your Radio On? and the CD?s of the audio book.  What a delight!

I took my second daughter off to college in August, driving from Las Vegas to Boulder, Colorado.  My ?deal? with her was she got to stay up all night before she left, and then she would sleep quite awhile on the trip while I drove and listened to your DC?s!

I listened to well over half of the DC?s on my drive, but it then took me another few months to get ?pockets of time? within which to finish listening.  It was great to relive the 60?s, in particular, but it was also very enjoyable to hear about ?the rest of your life? so far!  It was all very interesting to me and very well done by you.

However, I must admit, as good as the writing was, I very much enjoyed hearing your rich voice once again.  As with my dad, I noticed that the vocal chops for the gifted voices just get better with age (such as with Dad AND with ?Mr. Sinatra?, who was my dad?s favorite singer . . . and I loved your ?Mr. Sinatra? story, among the MANY great stories you told!).  Warmest regards and stay well, Lee.
